Hi AH, thanks a lot mate, glad you figured it all out for me, all my friends and family have always wondered.........actually they are STILL wondering! Take care.
WHOA DUDE, THAT LOOKS LIKE WELLIE WEATHER. JUST GLAD TO HEAR YOU AND THE SWEETIE ARE SAFE AND SOUND. I WORRY ABOUT YOU DOWN THERE IN THAT TRIANGLE. I RECENTLY CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE SUCH AN ACTIVE IMAGINATION. TRIANGULAR INFLUENCES ON THE BRAIN AS A CHILD HAS LEAD TO A COLORFUL IMAGINATION. STAY SAFE DUDE-MATE! PEACE!
Thanks PK.
Thanks for the info Hanne, I have Stefan's e-mail, it has started to work again just now so will cross my fingers. Has to be jigidi, no problems with any other sites.
Sorry Graci, just put a butterfly hatching up, will get some more out soon. Had less time recently as well as jigidi problems.
You are right Carol, we were at a junction and the water level came up as we sat there. Never seen it so intense in my life!
Hi BJ, it was at the extremity of hurricane Nadine, although she passed hundreds of miles to the east of us it still produced these freak rainstorms. All is quiet today, thanks.
Robbie, I've had some problems with jigidi too, suddenly most of the pictures disappeared and I wasn't able to create or solve. I normally use Firefox as browser. Bent suggested that I tried google-chrome and doing so everything was normal. He examined my pc and finally found out that a java programme in Firefox was missing. When he installed it there were no problems at all. I can recommend my good friend Stefan in Copenhagen if it continues. He is the one who gives a helping hand to the jigidi people and is sometimes able to solve problems from his seat in Copenhagen. The address is: jigidi@jigidi.com.
I have had problems with the site all day and I am going to play my spider solitaire! Thanks for your comments all of you, actually Jenny took this through the windscreen, I couldn't believe it came out! Storms all gone, hopefully good weather for a while. Will solve puzzles tomorrow if they appear!
Wow, Robbie, this is bad. I'm very glad to read that you two are safe home. Please stay in till it's over. How do you parents do? I hope it will be over soon.
Jenny must be quite the accomplished swimmer to get over there for the picture!! I can just see...one hand in the air, keeping the camera dry, and the other paddling away furiously!....Or was it balance beam?....
This looks ghastly! The weather stations hadn't tracked anything at all? Wow! Your guardian angels were watching over you two today, I'm relieved you got home safely. Hopefully your parents were at home & safe as well. Take good care & enjoy the swizzles tonight, you've earned them! Is that your car in the photo?
Hi all, thanks for your comments. Have been off line most of day, strange things happening with phones, tvs and computers. Rain problems and lightning strikes. Will try to get around the site but doubtful tonight. All is ok with us and rest of Island has scattered flood damage. Better than a hurricane!
It sure looks as if the water has chosen the wrong place to be!! How frustrating to come to such a place!! It's not always easy to turn and go another way. Glad you made it Robbie!! Thanks so very much!!
You are right snooker, we had no warning.
Hi DLT thanks we got home safely and no damage.
Thanks chickie, will do.
We could PG, we can drink swizzles later though!
Hi grg, there was a lot of flooding in the city and low areas, have never seen it like today in my lifetime.
Hi PLG, luckily I turned around and found a better way, we were close then.
Jenny and I were on our way home today and were hit by a storm. Lots of Island wide flooding and a cruise ship Norwegian Star broke her moorings and touched the ship behind her. Don't worry Marilyn, she is on the way back to NYC so you should make it here next week! We could not get through here, our normal 15 minute drive took about 35 minutes.
