They are your puzzles Starlord, I was only minding the shop for you :))
Just noticed I am answering the comments as if they are my puzzles, which in this case, they are Lady C's. :-)
I have to agree with Squishy, he does resemble Alan Rickman. Congrats to you MajorD.
yes a good DYR and I'd forgotten about him...
Hurricane Smith... a long time ago that was :-)And not to worry, Lady C. It was your choice indeed to add him to today's DYR's.The question however is not: Do you like his music? But: Do you remember him?And I see Major D remembered him.A can of 7Up will be delivered at your doorstep. Please give Lady C 18 months to make the arrangements for delivery.
Oh dear - sorry folks. Hurricane was my choice today :)
I agree Neville - I remember them from my boarding school days but somehow it's not a voice I want to listen to again
I had to replay Oh, Babe, What Would You Say on YouTube as I couldn't recall it at all (got to No.1 here in Oz, in July 72), and now I know why it is not memorable - it is filed in my "Awful" folder. It got to No.3 on Billboard, which I find amazing. Hurricane also had a follow-up hit here in Oz, in November of 72, entitled Who Was It (got to No. 21), but I am not game to even look at that one.
Perfect, thank you and well done - pat on the back coming your way :))Here is his lovely song - Oh babe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HGDJNgQcoY
Yes MajorDon but I can't put that on the puzzle title :o)
He is thinking - wich hits did I do? LOL
it's a weather thing and an old trade - Windy Miller
Morning Sissel - yes he is in a thinking pose isn't he ?
Well Major to claim your win - please may I have his name
Must be "The thinker" :-)
Norm!!!! I remember him, and he had two hits. Now he doesn't look like a World War 2 glider pilot in that picture does he?
LoL - yes he does a bit, but it's not him today Squishy
Looks like Professor Snape!!! Alan Rickman to us Muggles.
