Yes, that's the shutter speed, PLG. That's a moderate speed. To me it looked a little faster (I would have guessed 1/2000), the way you captured the water droplets. As lyndee mentioned below it looks like crystal beads. Nice job.
Wow, IF -- thank you! I didn't know I could do that! It says:
Exposure time 1/640 sec. I assume that's the shutter speed. Is that relatively fast? I don't know what to compare it to.
Depending on what computer operating system you use, you might be able to right click on the original image on the computer and go to "details." Even if you use the camera's auto settings the camera records the shutter speed, telephoto zoom, ISO and an amazing amount of other info. At least in Windows 7 and Vista it will do that.
Nice to see you, Islandflyer. :) Thank you. I have no idea what the shutter speed is. I use a Canon PowerShot SX20IS and don't exactly know what I'm doing.
You said it, bookish, I could see myself sitting peacefully enjoying this wonderful place, I wouldn't want to leave! Thanks, Patti, I hope you are having a joyous Thanksgiving Day :)))
Thanks, TS! I think it was summer -- was probably a year or two ago. I think you'd like it up here -- except for maybe in the middle of winter, -- although winters have been milder in recent years.
This is beautiful! Was this taken in summer, with the pretty flowers in front? You sure have some amazing sights to see in your neck of the woods, PLG! Maybe I'll visit someday.
It gave me pause. That looks familiar, and is a familiar name! ; )
Funny coincidence, PLG, I had never heard of the Bond Falls until my daughter posted some pictures this summer. I made a puzzle of it too from one of her pictures: http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=11AKDH64
