Thanks, JC. It is a rather typical picture. It is often sunny in Vancouver while we get clouds and/or rain on the north shore.

Hi Ank. In Vancouver most of the the East West streets are numbered (Avenues). All the North South streets have names - Cambie, Granville,Seymour etc. Lots of tree names here too. Right downtown the East West streets have names too - Georgia , Robson, Hastings etc.

Nice photo Cathy. I see the name of the street W 12th Ave. In NL we give the streets names. Names of trees, of flowers, of other countries, of famous people and so on. Never like this. Is this always like that or are there streets with names too?

I think it's a beautiful photo Cevas.I have been there one time and was amazed at how busy Vancouver is.That was about a year before the Olympics were there.Thanks Cevas
