Hanne I saw once a child was giving bread to the ducks, grandma was close, I was at the other side of the water. At once a lot of gulls came, the child did not thrown quick enough, and it happend very fast, at once the child was at the ground, the gulls in attack and grandma tried to liberate the kid. They were both injured. Since then I always take care for them.

Ank please, I just saw your comment on Ardy's puzzle with the sea gull. I'm very curious and interested in what you have experienced with them. I've never seen them attack anybody but ducklings or such, would you tell me what you have seen??? I so much would like to know!!
