I looked up the gull you mentioned, Robbie, and it sure could be it. Thank you! And thank you chickie. Yes, a huge wing span, Lorna.

This could be a Great Black-backed Gull which is the largest Gull and breeds in Scotland. I believe the wingspan can go to 4ft. This one looks close but hard to tell. Really nice picture LJ, thanks.
