Edie, it's too late to put it on the market at this point. I'm about 25% done with the repairs. Besides, the market here for these kinds of homes is bleak. That's why I got it for the price I did. I just wasn't aware of how serious the repairs were going to be. There was no way to tell, since it was all inside the walls and ceilings, and no inspector could have found it without ripping out walls and ceilings.

Too bad Gail, I thought being close to family would be enough. Is it possible to find something affordable that doesn't need so much work or is that the reason it was so affordable in the first place. I guess you have to see a place yourself and not buy sight unseen. Even though I don't think that there was a lot of choice in you case.

Oh, d'uh! You'd think that signing her name Hester, which she never ever does, would have been enough of a clue for me. Thanks, Edie, for saving the day. I'd have worried about that forever. And yes, the bloody $%*&^%#@ heat is getting to me. Just today, someone told me that the cold wave my sister was "warning" me about only lasts about a week, and that the temps get about, well, five degrees colder. If I could turn tail and head back to Oregon, I would. And leave this bloody miserable rotten no-good house behind me....

Let's see. Could it be because you called her 'Rob'? LOL The heat must be getting to you. Thanks Gail. Fun puzzle.

Well, Hester, I just checked out your puzzles (couldn't wait), and there's, well, er, NOTHING. So, pray tell, what prompted your comment, my dear?

How could I forget you? Have I missed some of your puzzles? I haven't been on much lately either. Since I've been in Florida, my time has shrunk to 12 hours in a day. I'll check out some of your puzzles later tonight. Right now, I have to post and run because my IT guy is taking over my computer remotely to do some repairs.

Thanks, elizellen. I'm glad you liked this one.

The red at the top is mouthwatering! I like the design too. All in all a very fine puzzle.

Hey Gail, I know I haven't been on jigidi much lately but have you forgotten me so soon?? LOL Hester

You're most welcome, Rob. Granny gave up smoking in bed. Now she only smokes outside. Maybe it's the woods that are on fire. I hope not. There are enough wildfires out west now.

I hope Red Riding Hood has her hiking boots on, looks like a fair distance to go. And I'd be a bit worried about that orange sky...I hope granny hasn't been smoking in bed again!! Good one Gail!, thanks :-)
