Thanks folks! I must admit I was a tad lucky with this one, as my guess was really Connors and I only threw in his semi-lookalike Federer as an afterthought! :^D

Nothing to do with my accident. I thought I had an abcess but it turned out to be a diseased jaw bone that did not initially respond to treatment. To cut a long story short I have had to lose most of my teeth and various sections of jaw. Fortunately all surgery was performed from inside the mouth so I have no external scarring. I was offered full reconstruction of the jawbone but declined as I could not stand the thought of further surgery. There is still enough bone left so as not to change my face shape, I just have to be a bit careful and not get into any bar room brawls . . . bang goes my boxing career . . . lol

Wow Antagony--good job! I would have sworn it was John Stamos--but then again visions of John dance in my head haha

SHeidi, et al, as a retired Dental Hygienist of 22yrs, I have seen the benefits of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Once the healing is over you'll be glad you did it!

I've had enough oral surgery in the past to know what it's gonna be like. But Froggie, dear, it sounds like you've been through a nightmare!

I will be thinking of you SHeidi . . . having only recently been discharged from the maxillofacial clinic after 2 1/2 years of surgery and treatment you have my sympathy . . . :-(

Good luck, SHeidi. Went through that in May...wasn't too painful but the healing went on for weeks.
