A close-up on one of the Hydrangea flower heads by the bench. Here, Robyn! And if you look ahead over the top of the buildings, there is the dome. We can find it as soon as we are all ready.

Like Suzy, I thought I'd left a comment too. ( a lot of them seem to be evaporating into 'digital' thin air. I wonder where they end up, hmmm, that's a strange thought. Maybe they're like the socks that disappear in the laundry and leave you questioning 'where in the world could that sock have gone to???'

warbler

Yes, Toto take a rest, were going to look a little bit mor from the bench and then be off.

Welcome to a Mid-West USA college town, Cathy. Thanks

Your welcome Shirley-good to see you.

Stand up, Laura, or go back a few puzzles. :))))

You did leave a message that is down below, Suzy.

Dang. Solved this last night (19 seconds) and KNOW I left a comment; something like "wow! This is HUGE!"

Great tour Dave!! I've put Ames Iowa on my list !! : )

Toto

Oooh, I'm a bit tired from all the walking. I think I'll go back to the last puzzle, take a seat on that colorful bench and wait until the adventure continues tomorrow. Lovely flower by the way.

warbler

Your welcome, Robyn-I'm glad your having a good time and the dome is coming up!

robryan

It's a real beauty Dave - thanks for the close-up!! I'm really enjoying Ames through your eyes!!

warbler

Your welcome, Floyd and thanks for coming along.

Thanks roseheather, in some of the planters there was slightly more of a rose tint.

roseheather

Beautiful hydrangea.

I have one that takes on a pink cast, then turns a deeper color as it gets closer to fall.

Gladstone

Great picture of a beautiful flower. Thanks again, Dave.

warbler

Its my pleasure, lyndee. I like having you along.

Thanks smllpkg.

I'm glad to be sharing it with you Patti. Your welcome!

See you, Beekay!

Welcome back Suzy I'm already walking with you, too.

Good eye, Maria! They had that tinge in all theplanters, some more than this.

Thank you Sandy!

chickiemama

It sure is a great looking specimen Dave! Nice shot!

mountain

Beautiful you can see a hint of pink in there as well

pumpkinhead

Will be looking back at the journey you have taken us on....this is a fine way to begin the look back!

Beekay

That's a huge bloom! See you tomorrow at the dome!

PLG1958

I love it, WD! Thank you! And, like Lyndee said, thanks for taking us with you on your trip!

smllpkg101

Can't get a good look at the leaf shape, but my guess is this is an oak-leaf hydrangea. The blossom isn't round like a ball, but more tear-drop in shape.

lyndee

Gorgeous Warbler......thank you for letting us tag along.
