Thanks, whatnauts! I made this pattern intending it to be a background for an added figure, but I decided to make a monochrome version of it as is, first, and post it. Then I added the other figure to the blank drawing, and used multi-colors. This is the result:

I'm wondering if it would have been better to forget that center figure and just go with the multi-colors in the basic version like the one we're on, at a later date. I'm not sure if it adds or detracts, honestly!
