Fodus, I've heard that same thing, along with how busy the squirrels are burying acorns, etc., and if that holds true, we're in for a bad winter. All the signs are there. Jacques, I missed you too, and it's great to be back! Thanks, my dear. Pkin, Windows 8 is giving me mor hiccups than I anticipated. I have a cable strung from my router to my desktop, across the house because it isn't supporting the wireless I have set up either! Maybe they'll fix it soon. And I thought Windows 7 was bad!
Hope you have better luck. I use a sprint air card for my internet at home. To start it wouldn't work so I upgraded. Then I worked for a day and a half called the internet company where we have our e-mail thru for the business and finally got windows live mail downloaded. But had to make a new Hotmail address then go from there. All because the business e-mail is a pop3 and windows 8 does not support that.. I still can't get the e-mail on my phone which is a I-Phone 5 and the same problem.
Whew.... glad that was all it was. I got a new computer for Christmas and boy have I had trouble setting it up. It has the new windows 8 Still haven't figured out whether I like it.
Oh, no, Pkin, I was just very busy through the holidays and had a ton of company and cooking and decorating and all the things that go with having guests. Then two computers crashed, so the timing was great! I appreciate your concern, my friend, and glad I was missed.
