It's northWEST, dear.
Thanks, Pat, chickie, cevas and Graciela. I'm glad I can share my little day trip with you today.
Nice set JC! thanks
Great picture and puzzle! Looks like a beautiful day. My time was 3:12. I think I need another cup of tea!
Looks like a nice visitor's center. I remember gas being 35 cents a gallon in the mid 60's. And if you got it at Purple Martin gas stations, you'd get a free glass with a fill-up.
Would be nice if the gas pumps did work. But do remember when the price was that cheap. Thanks for a wonderful puzzle today.
Sue and I drove to Baxter Springs yesterday, about an hour northeast of home. I had a great time visiting with Wayne, who greeted us and told us everything we needed to know about his town. We spent way too much time talking but enjoyed every minute. Maybe it was because it was a Tuesday and the off season...
Tons of Route 66 collectables!
BTW, the gas pumps don't work. It should be obvious because the price was 21 cents a gallon.
