Thank you Maryrob!
Very interesting shot Cathy,I'm glad you had a good trip.
Thank you very much Floyd!!
Another great picture of mountains and trees. Thanks Cathy.
Thanks Brian. I've never heard of scree running but I imagine it means scrambling down loose rocky hills. And yes, this would be a good place for that!!! : )
Majestic, a scree runners paradise.
Thank you Dave. I don't find it sad either. The jagged mountains become softer rolling mountains and hills which are also beautiful!!
I thinkits beautiful not sad, myself. Things are changing all the time. I love thelight on the peak!
Thank you Beekay!! One more 'road' picture and this series will be done!! ... My battery died!! : (
You have shown us lots of varied terrain during your trip. It's been very interesting:-)
Thank you for your comments Jim, Lorna, Ank, Denise, Grandmalucy, Faye and Lyndee!! I appreciate them very much! These are part of the Canadian Cascades ... not the Rockies. But you are right ... the mountains are barren in this area. Yes, Ank I saw that and I left a reply!!! How wonderful that you have solved 20,000 puzzles !!!! I am delighted that all the balloons dropped when you solved my puzzle!!!! : )))))
Looks like there's a few trees tryng to grow but don't look too promising. Really nice picture though. Thanks Cathy.
Must be Keremeos? Are we stopping for more fruit? :)))
IF these are part of the rockyes i always thought them to be a barren mountain range. but a nice pic. thanks
Beautiful cathy but its a bit stark from the soil erosion. Thanks and hugs:-)
I just have to agree. It's beautiful but it looks sad.
A beautiful and dramatic scene Cathy. Thanks.
I see erosion has been working here for a very long time. Thanks, Cathy!
