Check out the Tumbleweed website, they have plans for 'little' houses. Awesome idea! My daughter lives in Asheville, NC and they have one near her.
There are companies in southeastern Ohio that build little cabins like this for around $9,000 for the external shell. The are officially "fishing cabins" or storage buildings, but I think they are quite livable. I'd live in one with quite happily.
It's just beautiful! I couldn't live there all the time, but I'd love to spend a long holiday weekend there...
Love that little home, is it real? That's what I call down sizing.
