Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I made these kaleidoscopes from freely available images of carnival lights. I use a variety of programs to make my kaleidoscopes, colour the backgrounds and assemble them into a collage. All of which takes around 2 hours. It gives me immense pleasure making them, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. (•‿•)

That's such a great thing to do - to visit each other twice a year. I think it's easy for life to just keep marching forward - and without arrangements like that, it could be years before you see each other!! Although tell her to bring her laptop next time she comes!!! LOL!

But seriously, I'm glad you had fun Davon. After a difficult year - you deserve it! (•‿•)

I was having a wonderful week with my sister. She comes up to see me in November and I go down there (North Carolina) in March. I really missed my puzzles. I was rather hoping she would bring her computer so that she could work her solitaire while I did puzzles and we'd talk, like we do doing our phone chats...but no. Much Christmas shopping together though and many lunches out.

Me too! But I'm sure I will. In fact, I'm going off now. It's a bit earlier than I usually go to bed, but I can't stop yawning. Guess I didn't catch up on all the sleep I missed out on, with my little sleep-in this morning. LOL Thanks for stopping by. And I hope you have a great day today, Ardy. ((HUGS))

I do hope you will have a much better night tonight, Kirsten. Loving, healing ((HUGS))

Ha! I was about to ask whether it was laundry day! LOL I would imagine this one was a bit tougher than the buttons. There are more of the dark colours - which came from the fact that the original images were taken at night (naturally - or you wouldn't have been able to see the lights! LOL). But I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway.

And my Monday has been a bit unexpected. I'm home from work. I had a terrible night - with reflux that had me up most of the night - as I couldn't stay horizontal, without it returning. So I woke up with a shocking headache - and decided to stay home. After a bit of a sleep-on, and some pain relief I feel much better. But I wasn't game to eat anything until nearly lunchtime! I'm sure it will just be a 24 hour thing, and I'll be back at work tomorrow. The bonus is that it gave me an opportunity to make one of my puzzles for next week-end - a much needed head-start. I'll be out all day on Sunday again (work in the morning and lunch with girlfriends which will take up the rest of the day). And with Saturday already impacted on by some errands I need to run, it would have been very hard to have fitted in making two puzzles. If I can, I might even see if I can make Sunday's puzzle now too. Because the little bit of time I have available over the next few week-ends won't give me the time I need to make the upcoming special occasion puzzles either. I really wish I could afford to work 4 days a week. But alas, there is a mortgage to pay off, and a retirement to fund. Ah, well. Okay. I better go, or I won't catch up on anything! See you in your morning/my evening. ((HUGS))

Both of these puzzles are so gorgeous, Kirsten. Thank you. Can you guess what I've been doing today? The last load is in the washer. Yea!!! This one was more op a challenge than the buttons but each took just under an hour for me to finish. Hope your Monday hasn't been too stressful. ((HUGS))

I couldn't care if you chose a fave or not, Davon! I'm just happy for a visit. Although I have to say that I think that NOT being able to pick on is a huge compliment. And it's funny that you mention being away. I just wondered where you had got to last night, and was checking to see if you'd been logged in. I was getting a little worried!! I hope you had as good a time away on holidays, that you had here on this puzzle. (•‿•)

This probably sounds like a cop out but I honestly cannot pick a favorite. If someone held a gun to my head I would say the top right, but they are all stunners. Have had a lovely week of holidays and it's wonderful to come back to one of your master pieces.

LOL Mary! You were indecisive there for all of about half a second! LOL So glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks too for letting me know. (•‿•)

ChitownGal

Love the cheerful colors. Can't decide which is my favorite. OK, it would have to be the pink background one. Thanks, they're great. Mary

Gosh Janet! What's going on? You're usually such a speedster. I hope you're feeling well. And I think your puzzles look great! I specially like the Chocolate Cherry Tree. It really appeals to me. But the number of pieces you posted them in don't tempt me at all! LOL But I'm sure they will get solves. There are some very large puzzles lovers out there!

And how's this cool spell!?! I slept under the doona last night for the first time this year, and probably in about 5 months!! I have to say, I'm quite enjoying it. But the BOM are saying that summer isn't quite done with us yet. There's gonna be some more warm days next week. I don't mind them so much, when they are book-ended by cool. Stay well! (•‿•)

I adore the way you put so much thought into your faves, Gail. It really adds to MY enjoyment. Thanks so much. (•‿•)

It's a pleasure to see you, and to know that you enjoyed this one, Nancy. (•‿•)

Oh Dear - missed again! I am obviously doing something wrong!! Never mind, it was a lovely puzzle - thanks. I have managed to post a couple more puzzles, but they look very amateurish compared to yours! One was a beautiful puzzle of the Tower of Babel, we actually framed this one & it hung in the board room for a while - looked marvellous with a spot light on it! Well I think Summer has really ended - have been brave enough to swim for the last few days. Cheers Janet.

This is another wonderful puzzle, Kirsten. I love different things about my 3 picks today. I love the glowing look of the center yellow. I love the spokes and center of upper left. But the top center is so beautiful when worked. It looks like a rose stained glass window in a cathedral! Thank you for the fun:)

Nancy1949

Nice one Kirsten really enjoyed it. Thanks so much
