Thanks, Pat - We all have those days! But, I hope you had some colorful fun!
Little slow this morning. Good challenge thanks
Faye - the colors really were amazing to me. I had no idea there was such a variety. (dummy me!) Thank you so much for your comments!!
Quartina - that you so much! I love your new avatar!
Mariasha - thank you for sharing your wonderful memories with us. These photos are very pretty, but the work that goes into winemaking is hard and sometimes backbreaking! The product, however, is worth it.......to some of us! I am mightily impressed with your background in the industry. Here in Oregon we now have more than 400 wineries. So, it fascinates me.
I'll bet you are fabulous in the landscape arena as well! Thanks again!
Such colours. Love the "dusted" look.
Crush is mostly winding down here, but it looks like a great year. My daughter married into a organic, bio-dynamic winery family...so I'm still in touch with the making of wine. I worked at a winery myself...started in the tasting room, and when they discovered I had a decent brain and a sense of responsibility...it wasn't long before I was doing everything from making the wine to labeling it. I thought I would do that for the rest of my working days, but the owners decided to sell it, and because it was sooooo tiny, the new owners didn't hire any employees (they kept me on for 6 months to show they the ropes, then let me go). That worked out fine, because I had several people just waiting for me to help them with their landscapes...my next (and last) career. Anyway, I loved these pics of so many beautiful grapes and thank you for all your terrific puzzles!
