Mordred always knows when he's done wrong, but seems to think that if he stays really, REALLY still, I won't see him.

I love how cats always think you can't see them when they're really obvious! Who could avoid seeing the beautiful Mordred?

Well, he does work like a shadow sometimes... the slightest darkened area in my apartment and he fades into it.

Yeah, Dexter is undoubtedly the boss, but it's like he considers himself above the other cats' petty squabbles. He just struts around, twitching his tail, and occasionally unleashing a can of whoopass on Mordred if he takes it a step too far. Mordred can be kind of a dick, but it is mostly trying to make his tiny eight-pound self feel like a big man (he is by far the smallest of my cats - Dexter is over 33lbs, Mr Francis is around 18lbs - 20lbs, and Little Miss is around 13lbs - 15lbs.)

dats funny- he understands he's a black cat so he believes he should be invisible like a shadow when he doesn't move. So he's a smart kitty as well!!
Some how I get the impression Dexter is likely the alpha cat? Maybe Mordred is just trying to throw his smaller weight around.
But Im not there, i dont know. nevermind me. I'm just enjoying your pictures!!!!!!!

He is a very naughty kitty who chased Little Miss away from her nesting spot.
