Oh, hi morris. Thank you. But what about can you download pics from both to your computer to use on puzzles? I was thinking the dvd was just or viewing. I'm just a dumb blonde you know. LOL
Thanks, chickie. I never thought when I was there to ask what the difference was. I'll just go back tomorrow and keep doing it until I get it right.
Sue and I went back to Baxter Springs, KS, yesterday and I took a lot of pictures of buildings, etc., that will be there whenever I return, but the pictures I took of the dogs and trees down by the Spring River can't be duplicated.
jc, I am not sure if you need a dvd or a cd to use on your computer to download your pics. I usually get a photo cd. I think you can view the dvd on your tv. You might want to keep your camera card just in case the dvd won't let you download so that you can go back & get a cd instead. Just a thought.
Chickie, I took my memory card to Wal-mart and they were downloading my pictures onto a DVD. She said it would take an hour, so I will go back tomorrow and pick them up. They are resurfacing the streets around Wal-Mart today. What a mess!
Thanks for the great idea!
And I also learned this info yesterday jcarroll. My brother wanted me to look up airport xray info for his camera. It does mention that magnets can damage camera cards. Here is a link to what I found.
Gosh jcarroll. Sorry to hear that. I really don't know the answer to that problem, but I bet photogent does. I hate to hear that you could have lost 150 pics. You might try to take it to Walmart and see if it will download on their machines. If so, you can make a cd and then use it on your computer.
And just off the top of my head, maybe there is a particle of dust in one of the slots in the memory card. Maybe try an air compressor to blow/clean it out. I hope it can be solved for you.
Since you have taken more pictures than I, can you help me with a problem?
I can't download any of the pictures off the memory card I have been using the past year. (It worked fine yesterday morning.) I took over 150 pictures yesterday and can't get them onto the computer. It says "communication error". I tried an old memory card--Works fine. If you don't know, maybe there is someone else out there, that knows what is wrong. Thanks!
Would you believe we were there on Oct. 29 which is the exact same day I was there last year? You are right. I think when we were day it was a little beyond peak.
