Another formation in the limestone cave. I don't know anything about them, I just think they are very cool looking!

They are fabulous, Robbie, limestone is SO interesting and fascinating! Thanks so very much!!

Robbiel

Hey thanks a lot mate, I'll book a flight to find out! Thanks.

Thanks Heidi, these are Jenny's photos.

No BJ, all salt water below, not as salty as the ocean with all this fresh going in. No we rely on our tanks which catch the rain water and wells which are reverse osmosis treated. Thanks.

bradjan

I guess this is your major source of fresh water for Bermuda. Part of your aqueduct system?

Cool picture Robbie. Did you or Jenny take it?

They sure look like the ones in Yellowstone but on a smaller scale and inside not outside. Bet it does not make good coffee. Hope you had a great holiday mate.

Robbiel

Yes Robyn, a good place to cool down! Thanks.

Thanks Ardy, Yellowstone sounds fascinating. The little motel is still there next to the Lobster Galley, you have a nice view right up St. Anne's Bay!

Yes it does Putter, thanks!

You're welcome chickie, thanks!

chickiemama

VERY cool indeed! Thanks for sharing Robbie!

PutterDutt

Sort of looks like a frozen waterfall. Very nice!

Beautiful, Robbie. Reminds me of the northern section of Yellowstone National Park called Minerva's Terrace - gin limestone. Only there it is above ground. Very impressive pictures - both of them.

Thanks for your description of where your cabin is on Cape Breton. I was looking at the map around to the right instead of turning to go up by the Gaelic College. There used to be a small motel where you turn left to go by the college where we stayed at least a coupe of times. I loved it up there. Doubt that I'll ever get there again.

robryan

That's really neat Robbie - and it is probably a bit cooler than the outside temps too!!

Robbiel

Hi Francine, thanks a lot!

I thought the same lyndee, thanks!

Hi warbler it sure is, thanks!

warbler

Very cool looking, indeed!

lyndee

I like this one. It looks like white icing running down the side of a cake.

bookish
