I have a fine collection of them. And in case the egg beater doesn't get stuck on the rolling-pin and make the pie crust fall throught the nutmeg grater, I'll tell you about Uncle Wiggly and the watermelon. :)
They just don't let the kids today use their imagination and let them alone to work things out. Everything has to be either organized or sit in front of a tube or screen.
Yes, as kids we loved to read about Uncle Wiggly. I think our cousins had the game. I did buy a recent copy for my grandchildren and they enjoy playing it (at least the younger ones do!).
My sisters and I had a board game that we played all the time... about wore it out! Then later I saw it in a thrift store and bought it so the grandkids could play it. Fun game. Never saw a book.
