I have a fine collection of them. And in case the egg beater doesn't get stuck on the rolling-pin and make the pie crust fall throught the nutmeg grater, I'll tell you about Uncle Wiggly and the watermelon.

They just don't let the kids today use their imagination and let them alone to work things out. Everything has to be either organized or sit in front of a tube or screen.

Yes, as kids we loved to read about Uncle Wiggly. I think our cousins had the game. I did buy a recent copy for my grandchildren and they enjoy playing it (at least the younger ones do!).

My sisters and I had a board game that we played all the time... about wore it out! Then later I saw it in a thrift store and bought it so the grandkids could play it. Fun game. Never saw a book.
