And I echo my answer - no, they don't - thanks Lunie :-)))
I don't think they like it very much Phyllis, they are very common in Greenland too and in the mountains in Norway.. They prefer cold climates and as you say they are absolutely sturdy. Thanks :-)))
Yes, I guess we must remember that Alpine plants must be sturdier than one we have in our garden. Their climate is much harsher than ours, except for hot desert areas I guess. I wonder how something as lovely as this azalea would adjust to life in a warmer climate.
No I don't think that I have.. but I think that this is the first really good photo Bent took of them... Thanks Ardy! :-)))
They are absolutely very well accomodated to these areas fodus! Thanks :-)))
They do Jacki and you can step on them as much as you want - they don't care.. they don't even change just a tiny bit... amazing isn't it?? Thanks :-)))
Beautiful little things. What a nice carpet they make -- but I think stepping on this carpet would not be a good thing to do! ;-)) Thank you Hanne and Bent.
