Thanks, I thought so too, Cel.
Wow those are gorgeous Tex :)
Elfie and Jana, you're both very welcome! This little pot of flowers was a pleasant surprise when they opened up.
Very nice Tex :-)))) thank you :-)))
Quite a surprise!! Thanks so very much tex!!
Thanks, RR & LJ. I thought they were unusual, too. And both are some of my favorite colors, so spring-y!
That is indeed unusual. Beautiful, tex!
Beautiful colours tex - sounds very unusual! Thanks.
Hey, Lajuin, great information. I'm going to try that when bulbs come out this fall! I really love tulips, and I tried many times years ago, so maybe now it's time to try again! Thanks for the update, and I loved the puzzle from last year.
Very pretty tulips Tex. I've read that if tulip bulbs are refrigerated for a certain period they will grow. I think that is what growers in CA do. I've heard that deer do not like yellow so plant yellow tulips. We tried this out at my daughter's when she lived in Colorado and it worked. A few years ago I got yellow tulip bulbs at the Skagit Valley farm and amazingly they turned out to have a sweet fragrance.Last years puzzle - Skagit Vllley tulip fieldshttp://www.jigidi.com/created.php?id=QQ7FJ4CR
Thanks, Warb, Chickie, Lyndee, Chooks & Cookie. Seems like they're just too much trouble for everyone, so pots will have to do. I've really enjoyed these inside anyway, and they're lasting a lot longer than the cut bouquets I usually buy.
Lovely Tulips Tex, too bad you can't grow them out side.I can grow them here but the squirrels dig them up, take one bit and toss them away.JM
What a beautiful Easter gift, tex, you're much loved:)
Very pretty Tex. It's like you get two shows for the price of one Tex.
That's interesting. I haven't seen any blooming yet here. Thanks tex.
Nice Tex. They are unusual. I can't grow them here, either. For me its the deer-they are dessert for them.
They sure were pretty, still are. I may try to put them outside in a pot. I think it isn't cold enough here to give them a winter's chill. Thanks, Ank & Mimi!
What a lovely picture! I love the flowers and the way you have photographed them. Thanks!
So real Easter tulips. Pity they can't grow at your place.
Thanks, PC. I love tulips but can't grow them here, so we enjoy them in pots!
Lovely Easter gift!
