Thank you, I'm glad the problem is solved.... even though it nearly caused another one.... tell Mrs Bugosi you need larger portions, you must be hungry if you saw a sausage!!
Thank you so much for your consideration!.......Once I figured out what it was, I placed it over my eyes, and now all I see are beautiful black spiders!.........(At first I thought it was a sausage-on-a-stick..... nearly ate it!).....
Mr Bugosi, I have sent you a little something that I hope will help to solve your dilemma... you can choose who it is for... you or the spider!!!

LOL - I can think of kinder ways to wake a person up.... isn't it meant to be "I'll count to 3 and then click my fingers, at which point you will wake up"... Suspiria could have clicked her legs... I hope no serious harm has been caused :~}
Uh oh. Mandy and Mr. Bugosi, scroll down to "Hypnotic Eyes." You'll see that the spider is the one who does the hypnotizing.

The problem is that I am still learning about spider likes and dislikes and treating them like humans doesn't seem to work!! So nourishing food and drink and soothing music should "sedate" humans, but maybe spiders need to be hungry and silent (like hibernating bears) to be "sedate"???
Yes, I saw where you said that you had problems getting the spiders to sit still....so I ASSUMED that you sedated them in the end. It's the only logical conclusion that can be derived from what you said.
Wendy, you must have been commenting while I was replying to Jan... I'm sorry I missed it earlier... I said I had trouble getting them to sit still... I clearly wasn't playing the best soothing spider music...
Jan, I'm amazed!! You and others, despite the "spider" tag, have overcome your fears to enjoy this puzzle, and stopped long enough to comment... such bravery!! Thank you :~)
Many - this is so very creative! I love the honeycomb of stitcheries. Each one is different and very fun. I, too, hate spiders, but how could you not love this puzzle! Great one!! Thanks so much!!

Kirsten, I am so pleased you enjoyed the needle and thread.... I think that was the hardest part of the whole puzzle... that and getting the spiders to sit still long enough to capture their images!!!
This is just wonderful, Mandy--I love the different stitches (the red on yellow one almost looks like the reverse side of a stitch) and the brilliant colors--and the whole concept of spiders sewing!!! Super!
