Why are you reporting this puzzle?

After finishing our very short walk, we made our way to the road to wait for the golf cart shuttle back to the ferry. We were entertained by a bald eagle. I hop you can find him!
With this puzzle,we end our September trip to Maine. It was nice to have all of you along!

A mature bald eagle, thanks for posting this.

MackIntosh

Yeshh ! Me too!

ikook

I found him!

Did someone mention treats? Ice cream? Icing? Cake? Where? When?

cevas

It's a wonderful picture Suzy!! And the eagle is icing on the cake!!! : )))

PLG1958

Oh, yes! I'd know that look any where! I'm never not thrilled to spot one! Thank you for the great trip, Suzy!

warbler

A striking adult, its always such a thrill to see them and maybe even hear them. Our neuronal pathways have formed now, we EXPECT a treat! It's traumatic if we don't get one! PTICD(post traumatic ice cream disorder). :))) Thanks Barb for making me realizing I was missing something! :))

puzzeljac

A beautiful photo to end the series, I did enjoy it. I see the eagle in the top of the tree. Thanks Suzy. ☺

louisee

I see the eagle. Amazing birds. Thanks pumpkinhead.

Shian2

On the lookout for his lunch from high in the tree top. Thanks Suzy, and like they say, all good things do come to and end.

laurajane

Yes...sitting tall and proud...as he should!

Dilubreuer

Thanks Suzy for sharing with us your photos!

Graciela

Eagle? I think I need glasses!

Toto

What, you mean you're not taking me out for dinner?

davehenry1

If you want to find the eagle, look for a snowball in the trees. (So I've been told) TFS.

No treats, huh. Guess the eagle will have to do. :)

Daffydoodle

Sounds like a great trip. Thanks for the eagle as I really like them. Thanks Suzy.

pumpkinhead

Jacki-You are so right in the comparisons of Maine and Cape Cod. When we were with you on Tuesday, I was struck with the similarities...particularly in vegetation. (Short kindle response!)
They do like to be high above all, grandmalucy. He flew around quite a bit before finding his perch.
That would be the one, Ardy! An eagle sighting anytime is special. But at the beginning or end of a vacation, even more so.
Leaving WI probably evoked those feelings for you as well, partner.
Well, Barb....if you mean a treat for being such good campers.....I fear not at the moment. :( I am on my kindle and can't access treats at the moment. But thanks, SO MUCH for being ready to rile the troops!! :)

smllpkg101

Nice ending to our trip. And what wonderful entertainment while you waited for the shuttle!

SunnyBarb25

I'm sad to end the trip but thank you for it.... :( And yes, I see the eagle proud and majestic.... :)
Do you have something else in store for us, Suzy?

morris186

Always sad to see them come to an end, partner!!

ringleader

You mean that one in the tall tree left of center? What a lovely way to end your Acadia vacation. Thanks, Suzy.

grandmalucy

They love to be at the top don't they.

pumpkinhead

His white head does stand out, doesn't it Beekay? :) We look at the mountains from various vantage points, Beekay....and can say for about every summit that has a trail in Acadia..."Hiked that!"
Next we are going out to dinner, Toto. Oh!! You meant in puzzle world! :) We will be getting home from our current adventure on Cape Cod on Monday. So...After posting some fall pictures, and a project currently being done at our home....there will be puzzles of the Cape as well as Ipswich, MA.

bluebird42

Beautiful photo. And yes, I found him. I keep being struck by the combination of similarities and differences between coastlines on Cape Cod and in Maine. We don't have mountains and although we have some scrub pine, we don't have the great pine forests for which Maine is famous. Maine rocks are, in places much more like bedrock in Maine -- that is there are many places of just plain solid rock, whereas on the Cape we have vast quantities of broken up boulders and stones, but no place anyone would consider bedrock. And yet rock types are the same. Flotsam and jetsam on beaches is similar, seaweeds and beach grasses are pretty much the same. I could go on.

pumpkinhead

Good one, tater!

Toto

I see him - doesn't he look commanding. Thanks for taking us along on your trip, Suzy. Where are you headed next?

Beekay

Yes I can see that white head in the center of the photo :-))
Boy the mountains sure look large in the background!

potatomum66

A wonderful end to your lovely series!
It's almost too bad there wasn't a haystack nearby to serve as a red herring!!! We'd have gone looking for an eagle in a haystack! (forgive me!)
