Ah, Rebecca and pd, the old 'duck and cover' - so the caption is "Well, we got the 'duck' all right, but the 'cover' part is gonna be a problem!"

It started in the fifties, actually, when I was in elementary school--by the sixties, the high school I was in probably realized that we wouldn't fit under the desks anymore, so we didn't do it.....!

For those too young to know, in the '60s during the Cold War, chidlren were taught to duck under their school desks & cover their heads with their arms if they saw the flash of a nuclear bomb. Great protection, huh??! Those were the days...
