Yes, warbler, the Chihuly arches were there and I took some photos of them. Yes, the waterfall was falling! Actually, I came across two waterfalls. PG, when I saw that big blue Chihuly glass in the visitor's center, I saw you standing there on there landing photographing it. I missed everybody!!
they fixed that warbler. Hope to see a lot of your great photos of the gardens LJ.
I'm guessing the Chihuly arches by the rose garden weren't up yet either. Was the big waterfall by the Japanese garden falling?
It was spectacular, Graci, and yet not everything was in bloom. The pools with the Dale Chihuly glass were not set up and filled. Most importantly, only about half of the azaleas were in bloom. Some were half out and many were just buds. I went crazy taking photos. I guess it was good that not everything was open, or else I'd be here until the cows came home, posting photos 4 at a time. I so wish you were with me, Snooker, Lyndee and Suzy...and the others, too! It is a vast garden. It made me crazy, I didn't know what to shoot first. I wanted to spend a long time shooting the azaleas from every angle, far away, close-up, in the sun, all the different colors...arghhh!
I may start out at #6. A vast garden to explore.
Looks like a lot of ground to cover. Is most of it outside now?
Heading for #37.
I really want to go there Laura!!
