Hi Li. They didn't hand out programs but they did announce the name of each formation as they began it. I don't know anyone who has had this group at their wedding!! I don't think even an RCMP officer could ask for this group to be at his or her wedding. I think if a member of the force gets married a number of officers in their dress uniforms stand and form arch with swords for the couple to walk through.
Did they have a program to follow, or did they announce what these various positions are? I wonder who gets to have this kind of honor for their wedding? Super, Cathy?
Thank you very much Graciela! : )
Wonderful series! thanks Cathy
Thank you Suzy! I'm happy that you are happy with the pictures ... no butts! (I think you will be able to see one in the last picture ... stay tuned ... )
What a powerful moment to be part of, Cathy. Loving the photos of the RCMP.(Don't see the mapleleaves on the butts?)
Thank you for your comments Dave! Every formation they did was accompanied by some music on the PA system. Most of the music they used that day was country western! Cotton Eyed Joe was playing when they did this formation. Perhaps you have played that one on your banjo!! : )
Thats fantastic, Cathy! Thanks for the show!!
