thanks ... there's the problem: I have no vertical slider on the right. I have my screen set to a weird size because of a game I play, so I'll adjust that and I bet I'll be able to get the whole screen. Thanks much (and I'll keep lovin' your puzzles!)

Look to the right of your picture for "Select difficulty." You'll see a vertical slider. With your mouse, move the slider downward. More number-of-pieces selections will appear - not just nine pieces - and you can stop your mouse at the number you want.

(A .gif image can be used, just the same as a .jpg image - shouldn't make any difference.)

Good luck! ☺

Hi Jenny ... thank you for your in-depth instructions for the puzzle. I know it says "two steps" but after I loaded my picture it showed it cut in 9 pieces and there was no second step ... just nothing else on the page except my picture and the page's headings. I feel I've done something wrong. The imaged is saved as a gif and you say most are jpg so that might be it? I'm wondering if it is the wrong size since it only showed 9 pieces but I don't know what size to make them ... what do you use for 100 and 196? I really appreciate your advice!

Brigid, loading it is really easy! I'm assuming your puzzle is a .jpg file - the most common kind of image file.

Jigidi's menus for creating and uploading puzzles are really clear and un-complex. You probably don't NEED my listing of steps, but in case there's one step that doesn't seem immediately clear, here is the process:

On jigidi.com's basic opening screen, look at the blue bar up top and click on "CREATE." A new screen pops up. Click on the green oblong that says "SELECT IMAGE FILE." Your computer's list of stored files opens up.

Find the image file you want to upload and double-click it. It will open on jigidi. Then you'll be offered choices - how many pieces you want jigidi to cut it into. Click on a selection. You'll see a jigsaw icon working, and then your puzzle appears. It's not published yet, though.

Scroll down. Click the box that says "publish puzzle on jigidi." Click "choose a category" and click on a selection (Most of mine are in the "mosaic" category.)

Next click "specify copyright details." You've probably made your own puzzle, so click on "I own the rights to this image." (If someone else owns them, though, choose a different option.)

Then click the box for "I'm sure this image is appropriate for all users." Then click "Save and publish" and your puzzle become available for other jigidi users to solve.

A user can post up to four puzzles in any 24 hours. I always post my puzzle in four different sizes.

Good luck to you. I'll look for your puzzles soon!

Thanks so much Kirsten!

Hi :) I love your puzzles and they have inspired me to create a puzzle too but I cannot figure out how to load it. Could you help me please? My email is brigid2121@hotmail.com.

OMG Jenny!! I LOVE this one!! It has a wonderful art nouveau feel to it. I have so many faves, I would get RSI from typing them all out. So I'm gonna say I love the lot! LOL! Thanks SO much! (•‿•)
