PD, I tried to find a Happy Birthday pic I was happy with, but I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I opted for a blank greeting, and then added the words in Paint. The Christmas pic I posted was another one I 'borrowed', but I didn't do anything with it other than post it.
Your idea of scanning wrapping paper is much more original. I hadn't been planning on posting a birthday greeting (since I'm not used to posting stuff), so finding an internet pic seemed to be the fastest way to go about it.
Pat, that's a very humorous short story. I love the fact that you made sure the paper said "Happy Birthday." That was a year ago? Geeez, I have to see when you first started posting puzzles.
I still say that means you created it, whatnauts--you didn't just take a piece of wrapping paper and put it in your scanner the way I did for Sue's birthday last year...the extent of my creative abilities back then! I didn't even know how to add lettering, so I made sure the paper I picked said "Happy Birthday"! :-D
Oh jeez, I 'borrowed' the pic from the internet. Only the greeting is mine. There's some lettering along the bottom that I believe is a website (probably where the pic originated), but the copy I came across is poor quality and I can't read the lettering.
Mandy, it's YOU that has the squeaky voice from sucking the air out of some poor balloons. Shame on you! I'm going to post a slightly different version in about an hour which I happen to like better...but it also has missing balloons. LOL
I've got here, Pat - better late than never!!! Wendy, this is wonderful, but some of the "balloons" appear to me missing!!! Own up... who's now got a squeaky voice???
This is wild and wonderful--perfect for my frazzled nerves! Seriously, it is terrific--though I don't remember seeing a puzzle with 65 solves and only 6 on the board... Hey, profile people, get your butts over here now!
