Absolutely, it was the black inserts that made this puzzle so striking.

Thanks, whatnauts. I tried the large one, just to see if there was too much black, but that was fine--it was the COLORS that were so difficult! LOL! This originally had no black sections, just other colors, but it looked bland, with no real definition of the pattern. So I blackened in some sections, and I think that did it a lot of good... :-)))

This is a wonderful puzzle, PD. Very creative.
