This is one of those same trees I posted in fall with the beautiful red and gold leaves at that school in the area. I wish it was what you thought, SNOW!! Guess it's not to be. Although, today it was 35 degrees lower than it was yesterday! So we could, and probably will get another light freeze or two, and these trees will get their little butts nipped. Most of our trees are almost totally greened up already. Sometimes around Easter, we get cold weather for a couple days. Such is life in Texas, aaah!
Thank you, GML & Denise. These trees are not in flower very long in spring, but sure are beautiful when they are. They are also one of the prettiest foliage trees in fall, too. Glad you liked it.
My poor Northern friends! I feel sorry for you because you must be so sick of snow and cold weather. It was hot here yesterday, and cold today, with a light freeze expected tonight, after 88 yesterday! Up and down every week, but it will level out soon. Thanks for stopping by, and I'm glad maybe these pix can bring a little bit of cheer. Hang in there, spring is coming!
gnt - what part of the State do you live in? Just finished watching the news and they said the storm is going to miss us. I live about 30 miles north of Detroit, and we are only expecting less then an inch, followed by warmer weather. Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure, rub it in, tex! I just came in from shoveling snow. Yes it is still coming down. Bradford pears sure are pretty when they blossom, thanks for sharing. You are giving me hope.
