Two days later, they chopped out the dead branch - the yellow one! I do hope you aren't right!
I think he/she has a beak full of nesting material Jan, and is just waiting for privacy to continue the build. I can just hear the sound of the breeze in the palms....bliss! :-)

The bird looks like it has a huge insect in its beak. Do you know what kind of bird it is? Looks like the myna birds I saw in Hawaii. I delighted that you are posting more Jamaica pictures.
