That emboss alteration is really interesting, and it does give a metallic sheen to some puzzles, a glazed look to others--I'm glad you like it, whatnauts.
Somehow I missed this one the day it was posted. I remember reading the first couple of comments, but forgot to bookmark it. I love the metallic feel to it.
Busy lady! Thanks for taking part of that precious bit of leftover time for one of my puzzles--that's a great compliment!
Thanks, Pat. This was fun, not much time these days. School all week. 2:24
I'm glad we were so in sync today, Ardy--thank you so much!
Thanks Jan! Thanks, Jan! LOL! This darker coloring came from using LunaPic's "emboss", just the way it did on the Old Board, New Colors puzzle. It's my newest toy...!
Francine thought one of my puzzles looked like the sliding tiles game, Mandy:
She and I and lela all were hooked on it for a while, and it drove me crazy! I Googled cuisenaire, because I had never heard of that one. I'm glad that brought good memories to you!
I don't recall any sliding blocks, but this reminds me of an "educational" toy I had as a child - cuisinaire... I just searched for it and it's still being sold!!!
http://www.cuisenaire.co.uk/ thanks for the memory, Pat.
Your sliding texture blocks are wonderful. I love this darker palette, too!
Thanks so much for some beach fun!
Great today and fun to solve.
Pat, your creating mood and my solving mood are so in sync today. I find it so, so amazing. Colors, textures, patterns - everything. If I had placed a special request it couldn't have been filled any better than these today. Thank you so much. I hope the blessings you have put out today have come back to you manyfold.
Francine had to go and remind us of all those hours of frustration--er, I mean fun!
Thanks, Wendy, lela, Francine, and Marianne!
Just love the hues you've selected in these.
EEEEEK!....The sliding puzzle returns to haunt us!....
Pat and Francine, I still have the website saved on my Links bar and one of these fine days I'm going to go back to it.
Pat, this is awesome as well, but I still love "Listing Starboard" the most. LOL!
Oh, you're so right, Francine! I wonder if my subconscious was reminding me that I never did solve that one! Thanks!
Pat, this reminds me of the sliding tile game that we all so enjoyed a few months ago....:-))
~Bookmarking it for later. Will enjoy it as your image is speaking to me.
