That emboss alteration is really interesting, and it does give a metallic sheen to some puzzles, a glazed look to others--I'm glad you like it, whatnauts.
Somehow I missed this one the day it was posted. I remember reading the first couple of comments, but forgot to bookmark it. I love the metallic feel to it.
I'm glad we were so in sync today, Ardy--thank you so much!
Thanks Jan! Thanks, Jan! LOL! This darker coloring came from using LunaPic's "emboss", just the way it did on the Old Board, New Colors puzzle. It's my newest toy...!
Francine thought one of my puzzles looked like the sliding tiles game, Mandy:

She and I and lela all were hooked on it for a while, and it drove me crazy! I Googled cuisenaire, because I had never heard of that one. I'm glad that brought good memories to you!
I don't recall any sliding blocks, but this reminds me of an "educational" toy I had as a child - cuisinaire... I just searched for it and it's still being sold!!!
http://www.cuisenaire.co.uk/ thanks for the memory, Pat.
Pat, your creating mood and my solving mood are so in sync today. I find it so, so amazing. Colors, textures, patterns - everything. If I had placed a special request it couldn't have been filled any better than these today. Thank you so much. I hope the blessings you have put out today have come back to you manyfold.
Pat, this reminds me of the sliding tile game that we all so enjoyed a few months ago....:-))
~Bookmarking it for later. Will enjoy it as your image is speaking to me.
