Could you please explain to us if there is a difference (in the world of music) between the words "innovation" and "improvisation" ? Are they related at all? Thank you!
The ringer on the left was a "ringer" - brought in at the last minute to sub for someone who couldn't make it. Her first readings of the part produced a few interesting innovations, which resulted in a few suppressed smiles. We were glad she could help us out!
