Tonight's puzzles will be my last for a while. If my computer was a cat, it would be on its eleventh life. It's fading fast, and I've lost most of my original programming. A new (well, new to me anyway) one will be installed sometime next week. Although my computer guru will be getting me up and running on a basic level, it will be up to me to figure out how to get my puzzle-creating programs back and running again. I may have to rebuild my email system ... yet again. As I'm having a lot of pain sitting for even a few minutes at a time (yes, docs, thanks for $136,000 worth of spinal surgeries that did absolutely nothing), it's going to take some time to get going again. At most, I might post a puzzle from the OctoVault, but not likely. I have spent so little time solving puzzles, but merely keeping my head above water answering replies during the times I can sit, what I really want to do is sit back when my computer is going again and just solve a few puzzles here and there.

I hope to be back creating puzzles in a couple of weeks or so.

You're very welcome, Eva. It's my left leg more than my back. What a waste those surgeries turned out to be, and at a very high cost financially and emotionally. But I had to try it, because if you don't try, you'll never know what might happen.

Hi Ann, I'm going to do that. It turns out my computer was supposed to be ready this morning for Ernest to pick it up, but it still had testing to undergo. Ernest only does house calls on Mondays, so it looks like I'll have to wait until next Monday to get it installed. I've been spending hours reorganizing my computer and dumping copies of a lot of my Jigidi images (heaven forbid I should lose that!), organizing my desktop, emails, etc., and still have a lot more to do. I hope you enjoy some of my puzzles while I'm gone. I may have time to post one or two puzzles before Ernest comes next week. Then I have to get my computer security and backup going all over again. The backup takes around five days to get everything I have on Frontier's cloud, and it will slow everything I do down while it's happening. Oh bugger...

Mat, every night before I tuck my computer in and put it to sleep, I remove all the cookies. So, if they're virtual cookies, no way. But if they're real ones, no problem.
