Well, I was awake at that time but was trying to tell myself I needed to sleep some more.............and look what I missed? Dang!

It was 6:30 am lyndee. I saw it just as I passed by the window. Had to dress really fast without putting on a coat and ran out to catch it before it disappeared. It was very hazy so that is why it is distorted a little.

I saw something similar on my way to work: a lavender full moon, rising over dark blue silhouettes of trees. Didn't have a camera handy, glad you did!
