Thanks, David. I didn't know that! However I do marvel at them and occasionally stop and look at the rocks and fossil!And Jan, there is always water running down the rocks year round but the ice looks really nice!

Ditto. Did you know that modern geology was born from road cuts? Studying the layers in the rocks at road cuts and how they had repeating patterns, led to our current understanding of earth science.And I love frozen waterfalls, too!
