That's the reason, Mandy. They run the trains pretty full. Thanks.
Now I see the drawback to taking the train! I can understand why they restrict the return ticket though, or passengers would all linger at the top and they'd need extra train to get the back down!
It's about to make the return trip, Ank so it needs to keep the steam up. It will shut down completely when it gets back down as the steam train runs just once a day. Glad you enjoyed it.
You're welcome Hanne. On a train I think it's called a smokestack. But it serves the same purpose.
I know, Jan. That's when I wished we had the car and could stay as long as we liked. I'll be showing you around some before you leave.
Great picture, he is still smoking. Lovely Ardy.
I like that chimney!! Thanks so very much ardy!!
So sad that you only get an hour up there. but, this is very interesting to see and hear about!
You are so welcome, Pat.
This is great ..... thanks
Barb, I was so glad to get to the top. We get only an hour up here and must go back with the same group or our tickets are invalid. So much to do and see up here. It's great. Thanks for coming by.
Thanks Lucy. Glad you enjoy them.
Wonderful pic by Yoyo. Thanks for taking us up to the top, Ardy. :-)
