Ank, I know what you mean, our limits for living have grown we are not able to face things like this, but some people do. Imagine those homeless people who live in sheds, under tarpaulins etc. It's way beyond our imagination, but it exists close to us. Thanks so very much.
Yes, in the Stats many live the way I just described I've seen videos from such places. And now I say something odd: many of those people - also people from Denmark - say that they are content and don't want things to be different. They have no fear any longer for loosing what they have, they can't loose anything more but live in a way that they like anyway. Thanks so very much Jan!!
I hear you and understand, Ank. Unfortunately, we have many people in poverty here. Many of them women and children. They don't have so many of the things that we take for granted.
Hanne let's be glad that such situations in our countries no longer occur. The times are currently less well, and we complain. I think our prosperity is tripped, it can be a bit less. Our youth has no idea what poverty can mean and I don't think they can handle such a situation. I better stop............
In the older days some people were so poor that they couldn't own any land. The more wealthy people in a village let them live on some bad land that they themselves couldn't use for anything really. Here they could make their huts and try to make a living doing some kind of work for others while they grew vegetables i.e. for themselves in whatever earth they might be able to grow them in.
