It?s close to what I do, this is my recipe Joyce. I have fish (white or smoked), boiled rice, boiled eggs. I fry up a pepper, onion and tomatoes in olive oil then chop up the eggs add the fish and boiled rice then I put mild sweet chilli sauce on and it's delicious. My husband loves it especially the chilli sauce and yes the onion does mix in well with the other ingredients, surprisingly...Sue

Is this what you made.......if it is, it sounds good. Hope you enjoyed it.
I found this definition at Wikipedia. Kedgeree (or occasionally kitcherie, kitchari, kidgeree, kedgaree, or kitchiri) is a dish consisting of :
cooked, flaked fish (sometimes smoked haddock),
boiled rice,
parsley,
hard-boiled eggs,
curry powder,
butter or cream,
occasionally sultanas.

Thanks for the info Sue! :-))

I do like history 48 and if there's anything about the places or buildings I post I like to add a little snippet to make it more interesting...Sue

Hi Kari and Lynette, found this out about the farmhouse:
'C16 or earlier timber-framed building, refaced with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above'. Within the Dutch gable over the porch is the crest of the Toke family'.
I think this house had been welled cared for over the centuries. Thanks...Sue

Wow that is different :-)

This was interesting. Do you know what kind of architectural style it is? Thanks Sue! :-))

Hi again Sue. I managed to find a few pictures of British canals crossing other canals (and roads). I find these amazing engineering feats, and fun puzzles. See http://www.jigidi.com/created.php?id=XPYYPOT4, and others under my name. - kevin

I knew you'd like this one Joyce. Well I'm off to cook dinner, I'm doing a kedgeree. I'll be back later...Sue

Very different and interesting house. Looks like brick, logs and then a very large roof. Interesting entryway too. Best of all....those fantastic chimneys!! Thanks again Sue!! :))

...yet it goes back to the 16th century and judging by the chimneys it is authentic not a mock-up. I try to find different designs of housing, makes it more interesting and puzzling. Thanks kevin...Sue

Curiouser and curiouser, quite the design of this house. Thanks, Sue.
