May I please give a general thank you all very much for your kind comments? Thank you, I have to wash dishes! I try and mention Bermuda in my titles or info, sorry doglover, but you're up to date now! These are really nice and bloom all year round here. Shirley is right...........Almost! I found out.

This is called a Giant Red Spider Lily or Queen Emma Spider Lily.......Crinum Amabile.........HOWEVER it is not a lily but an Amaryllis and native to Sumatra Indonesia! I thought they were the same, scientists are a nuisance, they don't agree on anything! Hope you all stay warm and I will try to keep the warm pictures coming.

Don't look at the brown leaves - the flowers are great. :)

I'm only guessing, but are they a spider lily? Very pretty whatever they are.
