You are right, Michelle. I just tried it too and I have the same foggy, foggy night. Perhaps the glitch is partially fixed? Curiouser and curiouser :-)
Ok, weirder and weirder... Starry, starry night shows above in the teaser but when I try to Solve Puzzle, I am still in foggy, foggy night with that little smattering of stars above.... (eyebrows raised in askance)
Yes, PH, you truly have stars in your eyes. :) I don't know why Foxy thinks I'm nutso. Not so! I may be a small potato but I'm no peanut. Hmm, now that I think of it, a peanut isn't a nut either! It's a legume, as I recall. So if I was a peanut, would I be a legumo? Or a goobero? I dunno. Doesn't matter, tho', cuz I'm a potato!
Chrissie, you are too kind, however I really am old. I'm 60 but that picture was probably taken when I was a youthful 58. LOL Plus, I can't get a picture to show that my hair color is totally gray, as it was then and still is. The lighting changes it! That's my Mary Nolan Anderson Duckworth Facebook profile pic. I really need to change it to show how I really look, but I pretty much look like that except I got rid of those dang curls. It was a bad-idea perm. Thank you for your kind comment, though!
You need to solve this to be nutso, Sweet Spuddie? Mmm, thought that was a natural state of being for you - after all, the multitude of spare stars you posted seem to support that :-)))
MaryNolan, you may be old (although you sport a youthful profile picture!) but I suspect you are not in the least dumb, young lady! I didn't solve it only because I haven't got around to it yet :-) Thanks :-)
Still haven't got my eyes open all the way this morning, so even after reading all the comments, I went ahead and solved this just to be nutso. Too funny - it's exactly how I feel this morning: mostly in a fog but with a bright and cheery heading, none the less. A nice surprise for the day - jigidi messed up an apparently brilliant one, but we've got a lot of fun out of it anyway. Such a deal! :))
Tricky puzzle you have here, Foxy! You should post it in 500 pieces for those who like a real challenge! Solid black with a small white box and a few blue words....only you! :)
Oh, by the way the second puzzle I tried to put on today would not pick up the title I put in the title space and apparently did not appear for all to see.
You shall have more stars, roerick! Hardly a new style (shudders with horror!) but Jigidi had a problem with it and we can live with that, can't we :-)
Well, catty987, if you think this "sucks as a puzzle" then perhaps it would be better not to solve it? Life is too short to worry about sucky things, I feel :-)
You are spot on, Patti - it is decidedly not something I would post! I haven't had a chance to report it yet so I'll leave it for now. If they can't fix it, I will try posting it again when my next time slot opens.
I should have read the comments first! I was trying to solve it with a few stars on top and the rest solid grey. I didn't think that looked like something you would post, Foxy! I'll have to check back later. I hope they can fix it. :)
Ah, the subtleties of grey on grey...just a faint smattering of stars across the universal sky...what does she mean? What is she trying to say? Only the shadow...grey shadow...knows!
