Maria-We are far enough inland (west of Albany, NY) that we are not having the issues of others. The storm will bring us some wind, but we will not get the predicted rain, which is such good news for those who suffered through Irene and Lee. Thanks for your concern. My heart aches for those near the coast (and in PA) who are getting the brunt of the storm. It is quite scary for those in the path of this powerful storm. Our thoughts are with all of them.
Thinking of you punkin and hope you are safe from Hurricane Sandy.
I have been watching the news and it looks scary! A crane in Manhattan is dangling of a building and police has shut down the road for 3 blocks.
My heart goes out to anyone that is facing Sandy, my prayers are with you.
Take care.
Anna- Many in the US decorate, but not to this extent. It's quite fun to view!
Glad you're enjoying the ghastly fun shirley and francine.
We have some light rain at the moment, Ank - the rain and wind will begin this evening....we aren't real concerned. Everybody is ready for whatever comes our way! I feel for those people along the coast-they are really getting hit hard. Thanks, morris!
Great photo with the perfect title. Love that Young Frankenstein movie.
~Wishing you good luck with the winds. [We're expecting them in Eastern Ontario also, but tail end only.]
the folks who live here really know how to set up a fine display, chookies and healer. I can't imagine the hours they must spend setting it all up. Every tmie you drive by, there are cars parked, and people taking pictures (um...kind of like US!). Great fun!
Happy that you all enjoy the Halloween puzzles! There are more to come-all from the same place!
Snooker....nothing yet....the heavy rain and wind is to be tomorrow night and Tuesday. We'll see how correct the forecasters are. My thoughts are 2-3 inches of rain, which we can use. The wind...that's another story!
