One of the last photos of Feralina. She died a couple of months ago from complications of old age. She had arthritis and cataracts, and was nearly blind towards the end. She was a stray that adopted me nearly eight years ago, and a very special, sweet, shy cat. It will be a long time before I get over her.

Rosie, in my other puzzle tonight in answer to your questions, I described the cats. Keeper is on the left here and Feralina on the right. They're both long-haired calicos, not torties. Vaseline? Yuck is right. My cats eat Blue Buffalo dry food, and have not had a hairball since I started them on it.

I'm sorry and know that you still miss her. Is she the Kittie against the back of the chair? they are both beautiful Tortoiseshells. I have always loved the coloring on a torte but would have trouble with the long fur. I would get fur balls and I don't like my Mom's remedy for that in cats --she added vasoline to their food, just a small amount and she mixed it in good but YUK!!! They never had fur balls so I guess it worked???
