They do zzzz and Cloud doesn't look too happy to see me :-))
No I'm not but I may sell you mug to one of them :-)). Thanks Brie
I just love this picture, Edie. Chickens have incredibly expressive faces. I would never have guessed it unless I saw your wonderful photographs. Thank you. :-)))))
"Are you sure you are not with "OK" or "hello" magazines?"
Thanks Sharon, Rosie and Gail. I thought they were drifting apart as well and during the day they sure seem to but at night they still roost together. I promised them that I would only intrude on rare occasions.
"What the heck do you want NOW?"
Wow, I thought Sally had cut the apron strings for sure by now. This warms my heart although Cloud sure doesn't look happy with the picture taking. You sure do a good job with reading her mind.
All this nurturing has done that chicken some good. Cloud(ette) speaks modern Shakespearean.
Oh Edie! The look on Cloud's face is a picture for sure - what an expression! I agree with Ardy - you summed it up beautifully. And, yes, it is the price of fame! Nice to see them both still together!
Yes Faye, Cloud didn't look too pleased. I checked my dates and Cloud is now slightly older than the other one was when I noticed a comb developing so that's a good sign for being a hen.
That was my first thought..."What? You again!" :)))
Thanks everyone. I think Cloud was about to get off the roost so I was very quick and shut the door again. I'm thinking more and more that Cloud may be Cloudette. No sign of a comb whatsoever. I have to try and figure out how old the other rooster was before he started growing the comb. I think it was around 4 months. The other thought I had was, 'You Again' because Cloud sure didn't look happy to see me.
Sally and Cloud put a smile on my face without fail! Thanks Edie. I'm a bit surprised but very happy to see them still together!
That is the perfect caption for Cloud's expression, just as Ardy says! I LOVE this photo of the two of them. And Cloud looks like he/she is the biggest now.
Edie, did you have to take a special language course or do you speak chicken naturally? You interpret it so perfectly. The expression on Cloud's face and your title have me laughing so it's hard to type. Thank you. Love these updates. Just tell Cloud that s/he is a world renown personality and this is the price of fame.
Wow, they're still together, Edie! Lovely to see, thank you. :-))
