Hi Joyce and Hanne I've had some lovely roosters in my time. When my husband died he left about six of the things. He lived next door to me and I reckon he just kept them to annoy me and the neighbours. they were the first things to be cleared out. The noise was bad enough but they used to fly up in the air fighting, a body could lose an eye:)

Roosters are hilarious simply!! I remember we once we had chickens, small one which grew to "dinner size", we had some that got a little more time to be even bigger. They started to exercise crowing!! Oh my, 12 of the kind trying to make a decent crow - it sure was funny!! Thanks so very much June!!
