Thank you Beekay and Jo.
Haha ! Beekay if he hides those secateurs away I have lots of scissors.
Arthur is learning pruning and deadheading is essential for more healthy flowers.

that's beautiful, maureen. i don't have the discipline to do this. i can prune, barely. i love espaliered fruit trees but couldn't do that either. but i do appreciate seeing it well done. thanks.

Beekay

I'm surprised Arthur hasn't hidden those secateurs from you!! LOL you make me laugh :-D

Lunie, my husband spends his whole day in the Garden watering etc.
Thats his hobby!
I can't do much,in the garden, any longer.
My role......I love to visit Nurseries, that's my treat, and buy plants.
He does the rest.

Thanks Janet my dear friend. I would have cut back, more.
But Arthur wouldn't let me.
He has a hissy fit,if he sees me near the shrubs ,with a secateurs in my hand.
Ha ha !

We have a very small plot,so if we do this we can plant underneath the trees .
We are experimenting,to buy one in a Nursery is very exspensive,it takes a few years,
To train a plant.
