tangarine, think this may be a young one as the older ones get the white worn off and look more black. Thanks for stopping by.
It's feathers look like a beautiful, fancy evening dress. Really striking, indeed!
They chuck down my suet at lightening speed. Grrr... Poor little woodpecklers just have to wait for them to leave.
Yes, they certainly are! Thanks so much for posting these Kathy!
I see the PG glue is now being used by most bird photographers for that just lounging around look. Cool shot Pilley.
we call him Spreeuw Kathy!nice picture!
You have brought a little beauty to a bird, I must admit, I don't have a lot of fondness for. I do like the markings on this one.
Unfortunately, they're very messy as well. If you've ever had a starling's nest in your eaves, you'll know what I mean...
They are also very intelligent birds like Ravens and Crows.
Yes, they are beautiful in the sunlight. But they are an agressive bird that makes the timid birds leave.
Great photo with the perfect frame. Thanks Kathy. (:54)..Francine
I agree and this is a beautiful photo! Thanks, Pilley!
