Me, too, and there's more, so hold on to your hat, it's a bumper crop this year. Thanks, Mimi!

Love these flowers and their beautiful colours, Thanks texasstar.

DelSol, I knew that! And the bird is the Meadowlark, yes? I love Wyoming! Is that where you live?
Jacques, my dear heart, thanks so much. It's beautiful just like you and doesn't smell badly either!
Thank you, RR, you always see them together in fields here. And thanks, Warbler, you'll be sick of them before I get through posting them!

warbler

Beautiful, Tex, Thanks

robryan

I like that combo tex - thanks!

DelSol2

Lovely photo of Indian Paintbrush and Bluebonnets. Thanks, texasstar. :)
Indian Paintbrush is Wyoming's state flower.

jacquescamus

wow beautiful my love!

texasstar7

Patti, Svediga, Anitas, Jeanniegirl & Cel, thanks! It's that time of year, my favorites. Anitas, there is another one that folks call paintbrushes, too, it just depends on where you live, I guess. I know what you mean, though, they have more yellow in them, yes?

CelesteH

wow so pretty
:)

jeanniegirl

very nice!

anitas

Interesting. They don't look like what we call paintbrushes here.

svediga

Very beautiful flowers and a great shot! Thanks, Texasstar!

PLG1958

Oooh, gorgeous! Thank you TS!

texasstar7

I know, Lyndee, that's why God makes them grow together! Thanks, Lyndee, Elly (they're bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes), and Chickie.

chickiemama

Beautiful color combination. Thanks tex.

fanaat

What is this beautiful, thanks Tex.

lyndee

Orange and purple. They go together so well.

texasstar7

Danke je, Elina, I like that color too. Anitas, it is Indian Paint Brush, another wildflower, as Granny Goat Lady just expressed. GGL, that's so sad, we're supposed to have an abundance here, and I have already seen them at the airport. These were on the way to Ennis. I'm going back in a few days to get more photos. Thanks.

grannygoatlady

And thanks, Tex....as dry as we are in South Texas, this may be the only bluebonnets I see this year....none of mine came up in my pasture....

grannygoatlady

The orange flower is Indian Paint Brush....you usually see the two of them together.

anitas

Beautiful, texasstar. What is the orange flower?

elina65

Wow...zeer mooie bloemen en de kleur is... fantastisch. Dank je, Tex.
