I did see the movie and remember the parachute scene. Awesome! (My time in the US Army was spent in the paratroops. Quite the duty, it was. :-)) )
Well Treker, there are also stairs all the way to the top. :-)Did you see the Bond movie 'A view to a kill'? If not, you should. Grace Jones (her stuntwoman ofcourse) jumps off the Eiffel Tower with a parachute. Spectacular views and I wouldn't want to trade places with whoever did that stunt :-)
Oh my,...quite a line, for sure. I didn't notice 'til you mentioned it. Thanks
They did ... They did...
Yeah, right :-)
And they told me that would be a good way to get rid of you ...OOPS we missed...
I got my own staff to catch me...
Dag gummit when you were up there why didn't you jump to see if anyone would catch you... They probably would have said" I told the staff and they didn't listen"..
@ Grandmalucy: I don't feel quite comfortable looking at the picture either :-) I would surely not hold my camera over 'the deep'.@ Madmaxi: That's great :-) What did you do in Paris? I stood in a queue :-)))
I would have only joined the line but not gone up
Its making me dizzy just looking at the pic, but thanks for it anyway. you all are my travel guide.
This picture was taken from the second floor. And there are three floors actually. So this is only halfway up. When in France, I made it to level 2. Didn't want / dare to go up to the top. :-)
Good morning and thanks, I thought what are that people doing there. So now I know. And indeed the view is spectacular. Have a nice day.
It's a spectacular view from up there, Treker. But do you see the crowd queueing for the elevator?
This is a bucket list item for me! Thanks
